Welcome back!
We are pleased to announce a return from our long hiatus to bring you the vintage dancing that we all have missed. This year, we will host a Changing Times Tea Dance in April. Join us as we dance through the 1890s through the 1920s.Grand Traditions has been sponsoring dance classes and balls in Ann Arbor, Michigan since 1990.
At Grand Traditions we welcome dancers of all skill levels. Emphasis is on the social aspects of dancing as well as developing dance skills and increasing awareness of our dance heritage. We offer classes in various forms of social dance including vintage dance and more contemporary social dance. The term "vintage dance" refers to a wide variety of social dances from the Regency, Victorian, Ragtime, and early Jazz eras.
Our welcoming and helpful atmosphere allows even beginning dancers to feel comfortable. You can come to our dance events alone or with a partner, as we encourage frequent changing of dance partners.
At Grand Traditions, everyone has the opportunity to learn, meet new people, and have fun.
